Role: Lead Nurse - Faculty of Children's Nurse Education, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children
Having worked in paediatric surgical nursing for over 20 years in tertiary centres, and both taught and led on professional courses, Rebekah now leads the Faculty of Children's Nurse Education at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and is an active member of the Paediatric Critical Care Society Education group. The Faculty supports education opportunities for all levels of nursing support and registrant roles, believing that providing quality education for all is an essential part of valuing both the person and the need for professional growth of those providing care to children and families. Rebekah has studied Human Sciences at graduate level, believing all nursing roles should have foundational knowledge in anatomy and physiology, and more recently gained an MSc in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals.
