Qualified as RGN in 1985 and RSCN in 1986. Worked in various Staff Nurse roles in Central and North London predominately in Paediatric settings.
Fulfilled sister and senior nurse management roles in General Hospital setting, set up Children's Home Care Team and completed 1st and 2nd degree studies part-time (Early 1990's).
NHS Central Nursing Management, Change Management and HR Roles (Late 1990's). Completed studies for MBA except final dissertation as fell unexpectedly pregnant.
Moved to Cyprus in 2003 to take Up Director of Nursing Role in new private hospital and 5 years later moved to nursing change manager role for another expanding private hospital.
Returned to NHS 2016 as band 5 staff Nurse at BRHC. Joined Faculty of Children's Nurse Education as an Educator in 2019.Current Role Paediatric Nursing Associate Educator with special interest in Learning Needs and the Mental Health and Wellbeing of colleagues and young people.
