Aim:
Improve knowledge and confidence in caring for children who require non-invasive ventilation.
- Why children require non-invasive ventilation.
- Familiarisation with ventilators, masks and other equipment.
- Troubleshooting - issues and alarms.
- How we can best care for these children.
Target group:
For Registered Nurses caring for patients receiving NIV requiring ward level care.
