Clinical Nursing Orientation Programme
Aim:
To give new Registered Nurses to the BRHC theoretical and practical information and guidance to the children's hospital.
- Familiarise colleagues to the hospital's ways of working.
- Build upon a colleagues underpinning knowledge and skills of topics such as IV's.
- Gives colleagues an opportunity to become familiar with a variety of clinical specialists and educators from around the hospital ranging from the Pain Team to the Disability CNS.
Target group:
New registered nurses to the BRHC (excluding PIC and Theatres who undertake a specific local induction to their areas).
