When an individual enrolls on a Faculty of Children's Nurse Education event they sign up to allowing their personal information to be utilised in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018, whereby information is:

• used fairly, lawfully and transparently
• used for specified, explicit purposes
• used in a way that is adequate, relevant and limited to only what is necessary
• accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
• kept for no longer than is necessary
• handled in a way that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unlawful or unauthorised processing, access, loss, destruction or damage

An individual's data will only be utilised for the purposes that they have signed up to / given their permission for, and the related administration that is inherently involved when providing these services.  Data will be held by the Faculty of Children's Nurse Education in two places:

• University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS FT, the NHS Foundation Trust that our department sits within.
• Synergy Learning (a trading name of New Media Warehouse Limited) who securely host our Moodle learning management system.
