    My name is Bec’s. I joined the Faculty of Nurse Education in July 2022, following experience in paediatric surgery and as a Gastrostomy Clinical Nurse Specialist. In my role, I facilitate the orientation programme for newly registered nursing staff, alongside providing pastoral support and guidance with their evolving competencies.

    My passion lies in nurturing leaners with empathy and genuine care, recognising the rewards, challenges and transitions that come with entering the nursing profession. Furthermore, I am deeply engaged in collaborating with the clinical skills team, where I contribute to the delivery of education and training programmes tailored to substantive nursing staff within Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

    This collaborative effort is rooted in a shared commitment to excellence, ensuring that our nursing staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care.
