    I'm Co-Lead Nurse for the Faculty of Nursing Education and Research (FNER) at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC), where I provide strategic and operational leadership in paediatric nursing education, design and deliver FNER specialty programmes, support workforce development through competency-based training, and work to integrate education with nursing-led research. I collaborate with regional and national partners to advance nursing education for Children and Young People and represent BRHC in both Trust-wide and external forums. My role also includes budget management, team leadership, and aligning education with recruitment, retention, and service priorities.

    I have over 23 years of clinical experience in paediatric nephrology nursing and led the development of Bristol based national education programmes for nephrology nurses. I currently hold a national leadership role within the Paediatric Nephrology Nurse Group (PNNG), where I coordinate education initiatives and contribute to strategic projects aimed at standardising paediatric renal nursing education across the UK.
