    My name is Julie and I am a Clinical Academic Nurse Researcher, with a background of working in Paediatric Intensive Care. My role is new within BRHC and has two main aspects: 1. to design and lead my own research focused on improving the care and management of critically ill or injured children and 2. to support others working across BRHC to develop questions and take them forward as service evaluation/ audit/ quality improvement and research projects.

     

    Research active organisations have better patient outcomes and improved patient and staff satisfaction. I'm passionate about the role nurses can play in identifying important questions which address quality and safety and then leading change based on the best evidence.  If you have a question you’d like develop please get in touch
