    Hosted by the Adolescent ward at the children’s hospital, this biennial study day looks at current topics related to how adolescent and young people are treated within the hospital setting.

    Individuals go through a huge change during adolescence, both physically and mentally.  

    It is therefore pertinent to ensure that their voices and perspectives are taken into account.  This ensures that the care given is positive and effective.   

    It is also essential that we have an understanding of other aspects that may affect care, such as CAHMS and transition.

    Hearing from specialist speakers and undertaking interactive tasks to ensure relatability, this day will ask you what else you could be doing when caring for patients of these age
